Can Michigan be stopped?
The Wolverines are rolling through their regular season, holding opponents to 5.9 points per game and now embroiled in scandal.
The Michigan Wolverines are making a lot of headlines in college football.
They’re currently 8-0 and are averaging 40.6 points per game while yielding 5.9 to their opponents. They haven’t played anyone particularly great just yet but the extent of their dominance has really stood out.
This last weekend they faced what’s normally a tough opponent, rival Michigan State, but the Spartans are in a bad way due to losing their head coach to a sex scandal and seeing their NIL funds pulled from football. It was almost a no-contest with the Wolverines burying them under the field at East Lansing, 49-0.
Michigan is also making headlines over their battle with the NCAA which has taken place over the last year and had some new revelations in the last week. They’re being accused of filming opponents’ sidelines for the purposes of sign-stealing and they look awfully guilty.
So let’s talk about the 2023 Michigan Wolverines, my preseason National Champion pick, for a bit.
