This was a very eventful week in the world of college football. There’s a lot to go over, we’ll have to ignore a few things until later in the week. Paul Chryst is out and Wisconsin joins the coaching hunt at the same time as Nebraska. As I noted recently, this is disastrous for the Cornhuskers as the Badgers essentially market-corrected them once Tom Osborne retired as the Midwest power run game school.
Up and down the Midwest things are pretty tumultuous while the Rust Belt is surging with both Michigan and Ohio State looking like title contenders.
Down south, Alabama and Georgia both had some scares with the Bulldogs nearly losing to Missouri and the Tide dinging Bryce Young’s shoulder against Arkansas. The Big 12 has been festive as always and the Pac-12 looks pretty interesting as well. Let’s dive in.
