Fairly uneventful weekend of college football outside of Eastern Alabama where the Auburn Tigers continue to be an absolute mess of a program.
I spent my Saturday night watching the Fighting Jeff Traylors of UTSA come fairly close to pulling off the upset special against the Longhorns before succumbing to a superior Texas team. What’s more, Texas quarterback Quinn Ewers didn’t even play but he did warm up before the game and is clearly pretty close to returning from the AC joint sprain he suffered against Alabama.
Elsewhere around college football there weren't a ton of big matchups save for the Miami vs Texas A&M slapfest which was determined by a pair of muffed points. One of them recovered by the receiving team, the other not. I don’t have much new to say about Texas A&M just yet.
